Gressholmen Kro is a well-established, busy summer restaurant on a beautiful island in the Oslofjord, 11 mins by ferry from Aker Brygge open May-Sept. During the daytime, the Kro serves sandwiches, coffee and ice cream, and runs a small boutique with organic drinks and products. Later in the day, the restaurant serves classic Kro food (shrimps, mussels) as well as salads, vegetarian/vegan food, and daily specials. The Kro has also been a popular destination for weddings, company events, confirmations and concerts.


As a Chef you’re responsible for ensuring the food is prepared and cooked efficiently while maintaining quality. You will be part of an accomplished team of chefs. Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English

  • Experience with food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques

  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and food procedure

  • Good understanding of food service management principles

  • Ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality

  • Preferred - degree in Culinary science or related certificate
