Gressholmen Kro is a well-established, busy summer restaurant on a beautiful island in the Oslofjord, 11 mins by ferry from Aker Brygge open May-Sept. During the daytime, the Kro serves sandwiches, coffee and ice cream, and runs a small boutique with organic drinks and products. Later in the day, the restaurant serves classic Kro food (shrimps, mussels) as well as salads, vegetarian/vegan food, and daily specials. The Kro has also been a popular destination for weddings, company events, confirmations and concerts.

 

Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience, and we are dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us as the Bartender at Gressholmen Kro, situated in the stunning Oslofjord of Norway. Job Description, Duties:

  • Craft and serve a variety of beverages

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests

  • Create and recommend new drink recipes to enhance our beverage menu


 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of mixology and a passion for creating unique and memorable drinks

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting

  • Enthusiastic, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional service
