Gressholmen Kro is a well-established, busy summer restaurant on a beautiful island in the Oslofjord, 11 mins by ferry from Aker Brygge open May-Sept. During the daytime, the Kro serves sandwiches, coffee and ice cream, and runs a small boutique with organic drinks and products. Later in the day, the restaurant serves classic Kro food (shrimps, mussels) as well as salads, vegetarian/vegan food, and daily specials. The Kro has also been a popular destination for weddings, company events, confirmations and concerts.

 

Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience, and we are dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us as the Bartender at Gressholmen Kro, situated in the stunning Oslofjord of Norway. Be a part of an unforgettable summer season in a picturesque setting!  

 

Job Description, Duties:

  • Craft and serve a variety of beverages

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests

  • Create and recommend new drink recipes to enhance our beverage menu


 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of mixology and a passion for creating unique and memorable drinks

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting

  • Enthusiastic, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional service

Vi har over 200 plasser på uteserveringen, og det er drop in på mindre selskap. Det er sjeldent ventetid på bord. Skulle det være fullt kan du vente, eller ta med deg piknikmat til din favorittbadeplass.

But we have seating for over 200 outside. If it is full you can wait for a table, or bring some take away food to your favorite secret spot.
